Why Nice under the snow?

“Ginette was born in Nice in 1925, to an Italian father who had abandoned his wife and children to settle in Nice, and to a mother, also of Italian origin, who, kidnapped by her husband, had escaped and had found refuge in Nice.develops Guy Gilquin. “During the war, her father fled to Germany, soon joined by Ginette and her mother. Ginette had an artistic gift. After classes at the Nice Academy, she worked in Germany as a decorator in a large theater. Where she met the man of her life, a young Belgian prisoner, who was an electrician there and whose parents lived in On, where she accompanied him after the war and lived the rest of her life. She then turned. towards painting, which she taught. In 1985, she went to Nice to settle her dad’s estate. There was 25 cm of snow, which is exceptional in Nice.

A book also illustrated with works by Ginette, who died in 1993, and photos of her.
