A final surprise before the New Year. The December 31 issue had a special flavor for the teams of Slam which celebrated the 4000th broadcast of the France 3 game. Since its launch in 2009, crossword entertainment has undergone several changes but its biggest evolution was a change of presenter last September. Théo Curin replaced Cyril Féraud when the latter chose to take control of Everyone wants to take their place.
But for this special episode, the former disabled athlete asked his predecessor to step into the shoes of the candidate and play with the French language in the company of Magali Ripoll and Laurent Luyat. A mission accepted with pleasure by the former owner. “I'm very happy to see you there too and we'll see how I manage now. I love the new decorI congratulate you. Cyril Féraud and Théo Curin: a complicit duo for the 4000th Slam
Behind the scenes, Cyril Féraud had planned his move with his teams of yesteryear since he agreed to surprise his heir. “As you showed the best moments of Slam of my time, here are the very first best moments of your era of Slam“, he warned before launching a blooper reel specially dedicated to Théo Curin. The latter, very moved, warmly thanked his predecessor: “Thank you Cyril, thank you to all the teams who prepared this little surprise. We've already produced a little over 100 shows and it's already impressive how many memories we have. (…) Obviously, there are lots of little bugs but I learn every day and it's a treat to spend all these late afternoons with you all, I kiss you very very much“. A great statement before migrating towards 2025.
