A tragedy occurred on New Year's Eve in New Orleans, Louisiana. A motorist hit a dense crowd walking in the city's French Quarter, reports BFMTV on Wednesday January 1. Around 3:15 a.m. (local time), “a vehicle drove into a large crowd at the corner of Canal and Bourbon Street. There are 30 injured who were transported by (rescue) and 10 dead”said the local Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. The vehicle then fled.
