January 1, 2025: Prayer to Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ

You are blessed among all women! You were filled with grace by God, to be the Mother of his Beloved Son.

In your virginal womb, the Word of God became man in order to save man.

At the foot of the cross you received the testament of Jesus your Son and you became our Mother.

The Redeemer fully associates you with his Easter mystery, we have recourse to your protection.

Show yourself our Mother and give us Christ, source of Life and love.

Help us to remain faithful to our baptism by doing everything your Son teaches us in the Gospel.

Mother of believers, may we, following your example, radiate the Peace and Joy of the Risen One.

Make men discover Christ, Light of Nations. Amen.
