At approximately 12:15 p.m., an Alberta emergency alert was issued about a “dangerous man with a firearm” in northwest Calgary and in Bearspaw, a community just outside of Calgary. outside the city limits.
The alert identifies the suspect as 38-year-old Benedict Kaminski.
In a news release, police say Benedict Kaminski is believed to be located somewhere in northwest Calgary or Bearspaw and are asking all residents in those communities to be on alert.
He is described as being approximately 183 centimeters tall, with brown and gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray, red and white t-shirt.
Kaminski is believed to be driving a black 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, registered in Alberta under number CLN 5276.
