Bitcoin could reach between $150,000 and $400,000 by 2025, according to a report from Blockware Solutions. Projections depend on several key factors: US Federal Reserve policy, corporate adoption, and the potential strategic bitcoin reserve under Trump.

A three-scenario forecast for 2025

Blockware Solutions, a major player in bitcoin mining, has revealed its detailed analysis for 2025 while BTC is currently trading around $95,000. In its most conservative scenario, the company anticipates a price of $150,000, an increase of 58%.

This scenario is based on the hypothesis where Donald Trump would not materialize his strategic bitcoin reserve project, where the Fed would maintain high rates, and where historical holders (more than 155 days) would massively sell their positions.

The median scenario is for bitcoin to be worth $225,000. This projection is based on the effective creation of a US strategic bitcoin reserve, rate cuts in line with market expectations, and stable entrepreneurial adoption at the current rate.

The conditions for a $400,000 Bitcoin

To reach $400,000, the peak of Blockware’s forecasts, three essential conditions will have to be met. First, the Federal Reserve will have to adopt a much looser monetary policy.

Next, the adoption of bitcoin by businesses will have to accelerate, particularly if one of the “Magnificent 7” giants (Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia or Tesla) decides to integrate bitcoin into its balance sheet.

The role of large companies is central in these forecasts. For example, if companies like Tesla or Microsoft invested in bitcoin, it could have a significant impact on the market. However, this adoption remains uncertain. Recently, Microsoft shareholders rejected a proposal to add bitcoin to the company’s balance sheet.

The involvement of governments is also decisive. Donald Trump’s plan to establish a strategic bitcoin reserve could transform the crypto landscape. Jack Mallers, CEO of Strike, even plans a presidential decree at the start of a potential new term.

However, this hypothesis remains speculative. Some experts, like Alex Thorn of Galaxy Research, consider it unlikely that the US government will massively accumulate bitcoins by 2025.

In short, the evolution of bitcoin in 2025 will therefore largely depend on the decisions of the American authorities and the interest of large companies. If all analysts agree on an upward trend, its magnitude will vary depending on the materialization of these key factors.
