A 24-year-old young woman fell Tuesday evening from the balcony of her apartment located on the second floor of a building in Draguignan (Var).
His vital prognosis is still in jeopardy this Thursday.
According to initial investigations, she would have leaned on the railing of her balcony before it gave way.
It is the accident track which is favored in this case. Tuesday evening, a young woman aged 24 fell several meters while she was at home, on the balcony of her apartment in Draguignan (Var). Her companion was present at the time of the tragedy but could do nothing to prevent her from falling and being seriously injured.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the young woman “would have leaned on the balcony railing which had been moving for some time and fell from the 2nd floor” explains the Draguignan prosecutor, Pierre Couttenier, this Thursday. When the police arrived, the guardrail was on the ground.
The victim still between life and death
The victim was immediately transported after his fall to the North hospital in Marseille. “She is in a coma and her life prognosis is still in jeopardy.” adds the prosecutor this Thursday.
An investigation has been opened to find the causes of the serious injuries. Investigations continue. The magistrate specifies that the building had recently been renovated.
