Match on Sunday, change of schedule from the 17th day of Ligue 1

The Professional League recently formalized a change in the programming schedule for Ligue 1 McDonald's matches from its 17th day.

In a few days, the year 2024 will end and give way to the next one, which promises us superb posters for LOSC, its players and its supporters, from the month of January. He will also have to get used to some calendar changes. The Professional Football League, in consultation with DAZN, recently announced the development of its programming schedule. Thus, from the 17th day of Ligue 1, Sunday matches at 5 p.m. will be postponed by 15 minutes and will now start at 5:15 p.m.

The LFP explains that this modification “meets the need to have a greater interval between the end of a match starting at 3:00 p.m. and the start of matches at 5:15 p.m.”. This will allow DAZN, the British platform which holds the broadcasting rights to the French championship, to offer viewers “better editorialization of late afternoon matches”specifies the press release published by the French football body.

This adjustment in the programming grid will have no impact on the next LOSC meetings which, until the end of January, i.e. seven consecutive meetings, will not set foot on the meadow at this specific time.
