Victim of a heavy fall during downhill training in Bormio in Italy this Friday, Cyprien Sarrazin suffered from a subdural hematoma. The operation carried out during the night to “decompress the hematoma went well”.

Later in the day on Saturday, the FFS communicated again about the state of health of Cyprien Sarrazin several hours after his operation in order to decompress an intracranial hematoma: “Following his operation Friday evening at Sondalo hospital near Bormio, Cyprien Sarrazin is awake and conscious. His condition is stable. He will be kept under observation for an indefinite period,” said Doctor Stéphane Bulle, doctor for the French alpine ski team.
