Quintin: the new parents’ office at Notre-Dame school ready for 2025

The new office of the parents' association (Apel) of the Notre-Dame school in Quintin, elected in November, was at work on Friday, December 20, in the school restaurant. Everyone was busy serving the traditional Christmas snack, offered to the children and their parents, before leaving for vacation.

The president, Hélène Tilly, explained: “We do the same thing before the summer holidays. It’s a friendly time to meet the children and, between the parents and teachers, who are also present.”

New for 2025: a lottery on Friday February 7

It was also an opportunity to announce the 2025 program of Apel activities, the profits from which help finance trips, outings and educational materials for students. The year 2025 will begin with, in January, the sale of brioches and galettes des Rois. On February 7, there's a big lottery at the Quintin village hall; a first for the association. This will be followed by the school's open house with the meal to be won on March 22, and the fair scheduled for June 29.
