Opponents in now, Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda were teammates between 2021 and 2022 at AlphaTauri. The two drivers therefore had time to form rather strong bonds before the Frenchman arrived at Alpine in 2023. The Japanese also spoke about his relationship with his friend.

Before Pierre Gasly does not arrive at Alpine in 2023, the Frenchman trained at Red Bull et AlphaTauri (From now on Racing Bulls).
