From 7 December 2024 to 6 January 2025 CAORLE Christmas Time awaits you with a program full of events for adults and children.
A mega Ferris wheel. A journey of lights, tastes and emotions. Games for children, events for older children. But above all the arrival of a new guest, the Grinch.
They will be over eighty the houses that will be distributed along the city streets, in a route that effectively makes the Caorle market among the longest in Europe.
For the first time in Caorle the Grinch will be the protagonist, an iconic figure considered a sort of alter ego of Santa Claus. For the duration of the event, adults and children will be able to meet him as he wanders around the village doing mischief, or they can visit him in his home in Campo Trino Bottaniwhere a memorable photo awaits them.
For lovers offood and wineone of the real novelties of this Christmas is the new proposal which aims to enhance and present Caorle fish in a new guise: the “Fishing Village” in Piazza Sant'Antonio, a complex of traditional casoni that will offer fresh Caorle fish combined with local wines, with show cooking of historical recipes to revive the authentic flavors of the area.
Without forgetting the FoodLandthe street dedicated to street food and the “Chocolate Village”a delicious corner for lovers of chocolate in all its varieties.
Obviously there will also be Santa's house: an unmissable attraction for the little ones, in Piazza Pio. The “Marzipan Village” (in the Oriondi camp): they will be able to discover the sweets workshop and, with the help of the entertainers, they will build their own gingerbread house. Or they can have fun on the brand new ice rinkwhich will also be open at night in the Salita dei Fiori area.
There will be no shortage of events: hot air balloons, fireworks, krampus, an ecological Christmas tree, theatrical and juggling performances.
For those who love to dance, inside a covered structure facing the sea, here it is Music Arena which will host live music, events and shows to accompany the public during the evenings.
For fans of vintage objects and curiosities in Via Luigi del Moro there will be a stand market dedicated to lovers of antiques, but also of flowers, plants and ornithology.
Finally, for lovers of art and tradition, the historic facades of Caorle they will come to life with spectacular projections of video mapping. Twenty works by Caravaggio, Tiepolo, Botticelli and Leonardo will animate the external façade of the Caorle Cathedral in Piazza Vescovado, a story set to music by the young people of Caorle in collaboration with the local musical schools, the “Paul Jeffrey” and the Sarabande of the Marafa city band Marafon in addition to parish groups. The title of the work will be “Maria, woman of the present” and will appear in the evenings, from 5pm to 9.40pm.

The title of the event was not chosen by chance: the event, with its atmospheres, its scents and the magic of Christmas, aims to become a place for families to make up for lost time, living a tasty and emotional experience that it will become a memory to cherish over time.
