Manuel LocatelliJuventus midfielder, comments to the microphones of DAZN the 2-1 victory over Monza: “There is harmony, we talk to each other and say things to each other's faces because it's right for it to be that way, this week too we met to talk to each other because our results weren't up to par and this must not happen to Juve. We are many young people who need to grow together, even victories like tonight's, we all know that we didn't play a very good match but we need them because they bring confidence for the next matches.”
Must Juventus rediscover the solidity that existed before Bremer's injury?
“Absolutely yes, when a player like Bremer gets hurt in a team, who for me was becoming an incredible centre-back, it takes a lot away from you. We also needed Cabal because he helped out in the rotations but we need to compensate better with the defense. Today we were too much soft, there was something missing on the goal in terms of malice and the results also depend on the way in which you defend.”
How much have you grown since you arrived in Turin?
“I've grown in recent years, when you arrive at a club like this with incredible players it's not easy. There's been a generational change, in which I'm involved too. In recent years I've suffered a bit from the things that have been said outside but I focused on work. Now I'm more carefree, I play calmly and I try to be an example for my teammates.”
