The star of Spider-Man Tom Holland will spend Christmas with Zendaya and her family. But, next year, he plans to reunite all their loved ones together.
Tom Holland’s Christmas
The British actor, 28, has been dating the American superstar since 2021, after meeting her on the set of the Marvel film. Now their relationship goes to the next level: they will spend Christmas together, in one location segreta.
Although he will be away from his family (his father Dominic is a comedian, his brother Paddy an actor), Tom explained that he can’t wait for Christmas to arrive, because the last time he was abroad during the holidays he was holed up in a hotel room. “This year I’ll be in America, I’ll be with my girlfriend’s family, it’ll be fun. Where we will be is a secret,” he said. “The first time I spent Christmas away from home was in America, and unfortunately, it wasn’t my choice.”
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Tom Holland shot two films. “I also did two promotional tours, without ever getting sick. After the premiere of Spider-Man 3and so after my last day of work, I was supposed to go home for Christmas, but I got Covid,” he recalled. “So, I spent about two weeks in the guest room and was alone. It’s been a pretty rough Christmas, to be honest. This year is going to be amazing.”
Not only that: the actor hopes that next year, his and Zendaya’s family can spend the holidays together. He explained, “We’d like to start getting our families together every year. We’re both actors, so we’re terrible at organizing things,” he later joked.
The love between Tom Holland and Zendaya
Tom Holland and Zendaya became one of Hollywood’s most talked about couples when they found love on set in 2016 while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming.
When they’re not attending red carpets and premieres, they manage to maintain a low profile and are often photographed walking their dog Noon together. Additionally, Tom loves cooking for Zendaya, so much so that he prepared her meals while filming the film The Dramain which he stars alongside Robert Pattinson. “My girlfriend is a vegetarian, but I still have to learn to prepare dinners that she likes. I, on the other hand, love the spicy fusilli with vodka that she prepares.”
Holland then described the benefits of hanging out with people who do their job. “Being with Zendaya is the best thing that has ever happened to me“he confessed.
