The Israel Defense Forces claimed to have arrested 2.350 Hamas members since the Gaza offensive began on October 7, 2023, following attacks carried out by that organization on the same day.
“More than 6.000 wanted individuals have been arrested since the start of the war within the central command, of whom more than 2.350 are associated with the Islamist organization Hamas,” the armed forces announced on Monday.
The IDF assured that This figure only includes people linked to Hamas and its armed wing, the Al Qasam Brigades.and excludes terrorists linked to other Palestinian groups such as Islamic Jihad or the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
Last night, during a raid in Jericho, in the central West Bank, troops confiscated around a million Shekalim (around $265.000) which they associate with terrorist funds.
