Étienne, an actor in need of roles and at the end of his rights, runs a theater workshop in a prison. Impressed by the potential of the inmates who ultimately turned out to be very gifted, he decided to produce “Waiting for Godot”, a play by Samuel Beckett, with them. After a turbulent start, to say the least, the prisoners managed to take over the room. Then begins a triumphant tour which makes each return behind bars more and more complicated and painful. Étienne, who finally has the opportunity to reveal himself, realizes that he is walking on a tightrope and that everything could collapse at any moment…
