Snoop Dogg made a surprise appearance in First Takedelivering an emphatic message to LeBron James amid the Los Angeles Lakers’ inconsistent performances this season.

The legendary musician, 53, commented on the recent struggles of the Lakers, who saw a promising 10-4 start under new head coach JJ Redick turning into a less impressive 13-12 record.

Expressing his frustration, Snoop insisted on the need for a roster shakeup, urging Lakers executives Jeannie Buss et Rob Pelinka to consider new talents. “We brought back exactly the same team as last year, and with all due respect, it won’t be enough,” he said passionately.

He continued by addressing management directly: “Hello, where are you? What are you doing? Come on, make some moves, some adjustments. There are players out there who could join our team. As Lakers fans, you’re on the clock. You need to hurry up before we start insulting you!

As for LeBron himself, Snoop joked: “He’s going to play his age. I’m an old man too, so I do that sometimes. I can sleep in and cancel some events. So LeBron, you can too sleep !” This comment echoes LeBron’s absence during Friday night’s 97-87 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves due to injury.

Currently, there is no definitive timetable for his return, with LeBron listed day by day. He was also sidelined during the Lakers’ home game against the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday due to persistent foot pain.

Redick was blunt when asked about LeBron’s return after Friday’s loss, simply answering: “No.” He also shared his thoughts on the match, lamenting: “We were killed by our positioning. There were many ways they took advantage of us. Some of our passes tried to go through narrow windows. We should not never handing the ball off to the other team after a field goal and giving up a dunk. Part of it was just not maintaining our position and timing our physicality to get free. Yeah, that killed us.”
