Trailing 2-0 at Tottenham, Chelsea won 4-3 (with a double from Palmer from the penalty spot) and came within 4 points of Liverpool, who saw the derby at Everton postponed due to bad weather). Beaten on home turf by Nottingham Forest (2-3), Manchester United (with Leny Yoro in a 3-man defense) plunged back, while Manchester City conceded a draw to Crystal Palace (2-2). LIGA (19th day)
Beaten during the week in Bilbao (1-2) in an advanced match of the 19th day (due to the 2024 Club World Cup), Real Madrid won in Girona (3-0, with a goal from Kylian Mbappé at the end of 'a full match) takes advantage of Barcelona's draw (which won during the week in Mallorca, 5-1) at Bétis Seville (2-2) to come back to within two points of the Catalans, with a match in late to play in Valencia).
