And loud explosion noise coming from an electrical transformernumerous calls received by the firefighters and a general power outage. The Part-Dieu district in Lyon (3rd arrondissement) was affected by a power outage this Wednesday, December 4 in the evening.

3,000 households were affected

According to our colleagues at Progressnext to 3,000 households were affectedaccording to Enedis which announces an incident on an electrical substation and restoration in progress for most households.

The general power cut affected part of Part-Dieu around 7 p.m. in the areas of rue du Lac, Fort Montluc and rue du Dauphiné.

A general cut at the UGC cinema

Without knowing if it is directly linked, an outage also affected the UGC cinema in the Part-Dieu shopping center around 5 p.m.

Spectators had to leave all theaters as the films were interrupted. They received an invitation to come back for another session.
