And house fire mobilizes the firefighters of the Sdis 34this Wednesday afternoon, at Saint-Jean-de-Védas.
The firefighters were engaged at 4 p.m., rue du Hameau, between the districts of Lou Planas and Terral, on the western outskirts of Montpellier. A ton pump van, a large ladder and an ambulance are notably on the scene.
The fire impacts a 100m2 house. The “fire soldiers” are trying to avoid any widespread spread, the flames being limited to the 30m2 garage. Fortunately, the car was parked outside. A thick column of acrid smoke is visible several kilometers around.
THE municipal police officers and the gendarmes of Saint-Jean-de-Védas are also on site. The origin of the fire is unknown, an investigation will be opened.
