On Sunday, December 8, the Negresco salons will host an auction of various objects, such as drawings, paintings, artistic creations, books, photos… The funds raised will be reserved for animal shelters, which really need them.
The Negresco has always been, in a way, the palace of animals.
Before the holidays, would you like to acquire rare and sought-after objects belonging to Brigitte Bardot, Sylvie Vartan, Claude Lelouch, William Leymergie or even Sophie Davant? Then this meeting scheduled for Sunday, December 8 at 2:30 p.m. will surely interest you. The event will take place in the lounges of the famous Nice hotel, along the Promenade des Anglais.
This is an auction organized by the writer Henry-Jean Servat, Mickaël Ayari, the director of an animal home in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var, and Anne-Marie David, president of the ARPA, the association for the respect and protection of animals. Several other volunteers will also be there.
Everyone is welcome!
In this famous palace which was long run by Jeanne Augier, animal protection activist, collectors and curious people will be able to unearth superb curiosities. Goods offered by the personalities mentioned above, but also by the La Ponche hotel in Saint-Tropez, the restaurant The Little House and many others.
There will be something for everyone since there will be small and larger auctions. The objective is that everyone can do their good deed. Drawings, paintings, artistic creations, books, photos, etc. will be sold there.
An event masterfully held by Olivier Nuzzo, auctioneer of Maison Rossini coming from Paris, at his own expense, with his staff. The company will also not take any commission on transactions.
Brigitte Bardot, godmother of the event
The amount collected will be entirely donated by the organizers to the shelters in Var and Alpes-Maritimes, the latter being looking for ways to survive. Brigitte Bardot will be the godmother of this event since it is placed under the aegis of her foundation. A fantastic sharing initiative, well in the spirit of the winter holidays.
