Illuminations, ice rink and sales month promise a magical and united Christmas in the Mirandese bastide. The festivities begin this Friday, December 6.
December is shaping up to be an unmissable month in Mirande. Between the magic of the holidays, friendly activities and opportunities to win fabulous gifts, all the ingredients come together to celebrate Christmas while supporting local merchants. So, are you ready to put on your skates and try your luck?
Evening of illuminations
Friday December 6 will be marked by the Illuminations Evening, organized in partnership with the Mirande town hall. A warm, family-friendly evening awaits residents with the opening of Santa's mailbox, festive entertainment, free distribution of mulled wine and hot chocolate and a friendly meal* hosted by a DJ.
The return of the ice rink
Another key event of this period: the ice rink returns to Place d'Astarac on Friday at 6 p.m., for its official inauguration. This event will coincide with the launch of the city's illuminations, transforming Mirande into a true showcase of light and magic. A special soiree will extend the festivities until 9 p.m. that evening.
Merchant activities
Between the magic of Christmas, convivial moments and opportunities to win exceptional gifts, the commercial month is making a comeback, to the delight of residents and visitors.
The principle of the commercial month is as simple as it is attractive: make five purchases at five different partner merchants in Mirande and participate in a big draw. The prize is a family stay at Futuroscope for four people (two adults and two children), including one night in a hotel and tickets for two days. Added to this are vouchers to be used at participating merchants.

To play, simply collect a “Month Commercial” loyalty card from the operation’s partners. Completed cards must be deposited no later than the evening of December 31 in the mailbox located at Place d'Astarac. The draw will take place on Sunday January 5 live on Place d'Astarac.
