In the first episode, Notre-Dame, death and resurrection 1/3: Return to the origins, we go to the cathedral construction site in the spring of 1163. Then we travel to the 13th century alongside Saint-Louis. Finally, at the heart of the Hundred Years’ War, here we are in the cathedral to witness the coronation of an English king within Notre-Dame itself.

In the second episode, Notre-Dame de Paris, death and resurrection 2/3: Blood and tears, we participate in the wedding of the future Queen Margot with Henri de Navarre, six days before the terrible massacre of Saint-Barthélemy in 1572. Then, a century later, we attended the funeral of the Prince of Condé, cousin of Louis XIV, before seeing Notre-Dame besieged by the Revolutionaries in 1793.

In the third and final episode, Notre-Dame de Paris, death and resurrection 3/3: A cathedral for eternity, we are invited to the coronation of Napoleon in 1804, before a resigned Pope Pius VII. Then we admire the restoration of the cathedral by Viollet-le-Duc, transforming Notre-Dame de Paris into a great museum of Christian art. Finally, we end with the disaster of the fire of this sacred place on April 15, 2019.
