Compatible Matter et Thread
The Tado X ecosystem is the first of its kind to be Matter and Thread compatible. This makes it possible to install the temperature probe and the thermostatic heads and control them via Thread and the Bridge via a possible border router already installed in your home, such as a HomePod/HomePod mini, or an Apple TV 4K.
The Thread mesh network then provides greater range and offline operationwhich could prove useful for the management of large areas. Matter compatibility allows the system to work with Home, Google Home and Alexa. Be careful, however, as the manufacturer started from a blank sheet of paper, the new Tado X range is unfortunately not compatible with V3+ devices from the previous range.
