Toxicological analyzes revealed a cocktail of cocaine, alcohol and antidepressants in his body, fueling numerous questions about the exact circumstances of the tragedy. The Argentine authorities quickly arrested three suspects: Roger Noore, manager and close friend of Liam Payne, a hotel employee accused of having supplied him with drugs, as well as an alleged trafficker. Recently, the investigation took a decisive turn with a hypothesis ruling out the theory of suicide: Liam Payne would have tried to flee his room by going through the balcony.

A disturbing video shows three individuals carrying the singer, inanimate, from the hotel lobby to his room shortly before the tragedy. According to the British media, this discovery led investigators to focus on the employees of the CasaSur hotel, where the accident took place. Their telephones and the reception computer were seized in order to clarify several gray areas. The central question remains: why was Liam Payne, in clearly critical condition, left alone in his room? The new investigations could reveal unexpected responsibilities and, potentially, implicate other people in this drama which continues to arouse strong emotions, more than a month after the events.
