JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Conditions for reaching an agreement on the release of Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip have improved considerably, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday.

Asked about the possibility of an agreement on a return of the hostages, the Israeli Prime Minister declared that conditions “had changed a lot for the better”, during an interview with local Channel 14 television.

Benjamin Netanyahu did not provide further information.
