On the occasion of the Congress of Mayors held in , they presented a list of 10 proposals to the government. They specifically asked to meet the Minister of the Interior.

According to the official program, Bruno Retailleau will then go to Ambleteuse where he is expected from 12:30 p.m. He will have lunch there with elected officials and will go to Ambleteuse town hall. Then he will go to Boulogne-sur-Mer from 3 p.m. He will go to the port where he should discuss with maritime rescue stakeholders, the firefighters, the SNSM and the Premar, that is to say the maritime prefecture.
