After a particularly poor 2024 harvest penalized by numerous quality problems, French wheat still remains uncompetitive internationally. Despite signs of exhaustion, the Russian offer remains the most attractive internationally, especially since the ruble has also rapidly lost ground against the dollar since the start of the month. Argentine wheat has also quickly gained in competitiveness with the progress of the harvest and has, in turn, further reduced the sales opportunities for French exporters.
