Hezbollah claims to have won a “victory” and lists the results of its war against Israel

On the first day of the ceasefire, Hezbollah claimed, Wednesday, to have “won victory” over Israel which “could not shake (its) determination or break (its) will”, and listed, in a communicated, the results of his war against the Hebrew state.

– Since October 8, 2023, the Shiite party has carried out more than 4,637 (announced) military operations for 417 days, with an average of 11 operations per day.

– Among these operations, 1,666 have been carried out since the start of Israeli attacks against Lebanon and the launch of operation “Awali el Bo’s” on September 17, 2024, with an average of 23 operations per day. These operations targeted Israeli army positions, barracks and bases, Israeli towns and cities, stretching from the Lebanese-Israeli border to beyond Tel Aviv, and heroically confronted ground incursions in Lebanese territory.

– Hezbollah carried out 105 military operations as part of the “Khaybar” series of operations, targeting dozens of strategic and sensitive military and security bases, which were targeted for the first time in the history of the state of Israel, using ballistic and precision missiles, as well as drones that reached areas beyond Tel Aviv, 150 kilometers inside Israel.

– The cumulative losses suffered by the Israeli army since it announced the start of its ground advance into Lebanese territory on October 1, 2024 until the date of publication of this declaration amount to more than 130 soldiers and officers killed and more than 1,250 injured; 59 Merkava tanks, 11 bulldozers, 2 Hummers, 2 armored vehicles and 2 armored personnel carriers destroyed. Six Hermes 450 type drones, two Hermes 900 drones and a quadcopter were shot down. This toll does not include Israeli losses in military bases, positions, barracks, settlements and occupied towns.

– Throughout the Israeli army’s ground operation inside Lebanese territory, attempts by hostile forces failed to occupy or establish themselves in the border villages or create a buffer zone military and security as Israel hoped, nor to thwart the firing of rockets and missiles into the interior of the country.

They will remain fully prepared to face Israeli attacks and will continue to monitor the movements and withdrawals of enemy forces behind the borders.
