Valère Corréard gives us a good plan every day to give us back our purchasing power, today we are saving 473 euros…by participating in a group purchase of gas.
It is the UFC Que-Choisir association which is in charge with a “ group purchase of gas to achieve significant energy savings ».
I have already told you about group purchases, but for electricity. The principle is super simple and terribly effective: unity is strength.
In fact, an operator such as a company, an association brings together as many consumers as possible for a need, in this case energy…and will negotiate a wholesale price with a supplier which allows participants to benefit from a lower price. unattainable if you are alone…That’s the principle of group purchases.
And the UFC Que-Choisir association is launching one for gas?
Exactly ! Everything was done via the association’s subsidiary: “SAS Que Choisir”, a call for tenders from national gas suppliers, so that they could offer a financially attractive and legally secure offer. Several suppliers submitted offers, and, after analysis, the lowest winning offer was that of Alterna Energie. This offer is offered today to all subscribers served by the national distributor GRDF »
The available offer will be secured for a minimum of two years. The price of kwh of gas will be between 17 and 22% of the benchmark rate for the month of November. Basically, there are two scenarios: you use gas for cooking or domestic hot water and you can expect 166 euros in savings. But if you also heat yourself with gas, the association announces 473 euros in savings. Of course these are averages which depend on the size of your home or the number of people in the house, but it gives you an idea.
So what do we do if we want to subscribe to this interesting offer?
You have until December 31 of this year to register on https://www.quechoisirensemble.fr/
You will be able to do an online simulation first, and UFC Que-Choisir reminds you that:
- Changing supplier is simple and free;
- Change supplier does not involve changing the meter or any particular installation at home;
- Changing supplier has no impact on the quality or continuity of supply;
- Only one step to complete: sign a contract with the new supplier;
- The old contract is automatically terminated.
And what’s more, the winning supplier, Alterna, only offers green and local gas, which will make you smart and eco-responsible consumers…
That’s what we call killing two birds with one stone!
I remind you, if you also have a good budget plan, a question, remark…Send me an email [email protected].
