It was time for the handover of command at the Grand-Dole fire and rescue center (CIS) between Captain Jérôme Guyon (outgoing center head) and Lieutenant Fabien Vincent (new center head) met in our editions previous ones.
A ceremony chaired by Colonel Philippe Olivier, departmental director of the Jura Fire Brigade, in the presence of Hugues Alladio, sub-prefect of the Dole district, Gérôme Fassenet, president of the Jura departmental council, MP Justine Gruet, Hélène Thevenin, Mayor of Choisey and internal security forces: gendarmerie and police.
Respect for accomplished missions
After the protocol ceremony, the authorities spoke inside the center in front of numerous firefighters, volunteer professionals and young firefighters, an opportunity for Justine Gruet to express her thanks and deep respect for the firefighters. The “reactivity” of the latter was illustrated during the parliamentarian’s speech, with the rapid departure of an intervention taking place at the same time…
Soon another big meeting awaits the Jura firefighters with the Sainte-Barbe celebrations which will take place throughout the department.
