His very worried family is waiting for news. “Grandpa Guy” has never disappeared for more than thirty minutes, despite the Alzheimer’s disease that affects him. Since his unexpected departure, messages have been circulating on Marseille Facebook groups. The Bouches-du-Rhône national police launched an appeal on November 26 to Witness to find this 76-year-old man.

The wanted man suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and, according to the testimony of relatives, showed some signs of losing his bearings and getting nervous before disappearing. “He left the house angry, this can happen sometimes but according to those who live with him, he always comes back after 30 minutes, after walking a little outside.”says a manager of the ARPD association in Marseille who distributed the wanted notice a few days ago.

The national police and municipal police began viewing the archives of video surveillance cameras that could have been in his path.

Guy hasn’t been home for five nights and hasn’t given any sign of life. He left without a phone, without means of payment and without papers. Perhaps he has a document in his pockets that could prove his identity, but nothing is certain. It could still be found in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille and in the Belle de Mai district. A call was also made to all football clubs because he is a football fan who likes to get close to the pitches.

When Guy, with black hair and brown eyes, left his home, he was dressed in a khaki jacket and dark green jogging pants with sandals. He is 1.72 meters tall and weighs approximately 85 kilos.
