On November 26, 2024, the body of a 15-year-old teenager was found under a bridge in Ardèche. Mathieu, 15, had not given any sign of life since Saturday and was the subject of an investigation for a worrying disappearance.
After three days of searching, the teenager’s body was discovered by investigators under a bridge. Tuesday afternoon, reports France blue, Mathieu, 15, was found dead.

On the afternoon of November 26, investigators continued their search for the third day in a row. The first elements of the file led them to take a particular interest in the places “prone to suicide”.
The circumstances of Mathieu’s disappearance led one to believe that he might have tried to harm himself. Also, it was under a bridge linking Lyas to Privas, in Ardèche, that it was discovered.
Favored suicide theory
The 15-year-old boy disappeared on Saturday. On Monday, a call for witnesses was issued and an investigation into a disturbing disappearance was opened. The latter is systematic in the event of the disappearance of a minor.
According to our colleagues, the teenager killed himself. Of the forensic examinations will allow us to confirm this hypothesis or identify other causes if necessary.
