Garmin has announced the release of a new public beta version of its Forerunner smartwatch software.
Here’s what we know
Update 21.19 is almost ready for release and will be available to all users soon, unless there are any major issues during testing.
This update, available for Forerunner 165, 255, 265, 955 and 965 models, includes stability improvements compared to the previous version 21.18.
Other new features in the beta include moon phase display, meditation (for most models), and automatic calculation of lactate threshold and functional power threshold.
How to activate it
To download the update, users need to go to their device’s settings menu. Additionally, for those planning to purchase the Forerunner 165, there is currently a discount of up to $199.99 on Amazon as part of the Black Friday sales.
