The Hisense PX2-PRO video projector is designed for home cinema sessions thanks to its ability to project very large, sharp and ultra-detailed images. The problem is that this model is very expensive. But during Black Friday Week, a reduction at Fnac and at Darty helps to soften the bill: the two sites are in fact offering this model at 1,599 euros instead of 2,990 euros at launch.
It was during the summer of 2023 that Hisense expanded its range of video projectors with its PX2-Pro model, a 4K model equipped with a host of technologies, such as TriChroma, which offers better coverage of color spaces. A successor has since arrived, but it's not as good a deal as this one thanks to Black Friday.
The strong points of the Hisense PX2-Pro video projector
- Large images in 4K up to 130 inches
- A brightness of 2,400 lumens
- Compatible HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos
- The Vidaa U operating system
Launched at 2,999 euros, the Hisense PX2-Pro video projector is now offered at 1,599 euros at Fnac and Darty. Its lowest price over the last 30 days was 1,799 euros.
Colors and brightness do you want some here?
If you want to be able to watch a film or an episode of a series (almost) as if you were at the cinema, then the Hisense PX2-Pro video projector should suit you. This model equipped with ultra short throw projection technology is in fact capable of projecting very large images, their diagonal can range from 90 to 130 inches, even if it is placed less than 50 cm from a wall. The images are also broadcast in 4K UHD, which guarantees a sharp and well-detailed result at all times. The PX2-Pro also features TriChroma technology with three RGB lasers which promises better coverage of color spaces and therefore very realistic sequences.
The PX2-Pro also ensures its maximum brightness since it can reach 2,400 lumens. Otherwise, the projector is compatible with HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats, allowing it to display finer details and more nuances in dark and bright areas of the image. Also note that the device can perform a upscaling in 4K of each content. And on the sound side, we are entitled to an integrated Dolby Atmos compatible soundbar for vast and immersive sound.
Streaming platforms within reach of a remote control
The Hisense PX2-Pro video projector also provides access to Vidaa U, the brand's in-house operating system. It includes all the flagship streaming platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and Apple TV+. Alexa is also there so that you can control the PX2-Pro by voice; the remote control is equipped with a microphone so that you can summon the assistant at any time. And if you have a speaker with Alexa built-in, you can also use it to control the video projector.
Finally, on the connectivity side, the PX2-Pro is quite well equipped with three HDMI ports including two 2.1 (one supporting ARC/eARC protocols, practical for enjoying high-resolution sound with a soundbar), two USB ports, an audio output, an optical audio output and a LAN port.
