Lebanon: Massive IDF strike on Beirut in 120 seconds
The Israeli army announces that it has carried out a lightning operation on Beirut, striking 20 terrorist targets in just 120 seconds. Eight combat aircraft participated in this offensive which notably targeted seven Hezbollah management and financial storage sites, including branches of the Al-Qard al-Hassan association, used by the organization for its financial transactions.
In the Dahiyeh neighborhood, thirteen other targets were hit, including an air unit center, an intelligence headquarters, weapons depots, an operations room and military installations.
This offensive is a continuation of recent Israeli economic sanctions against 24 major depositors of the association, accused of financing terrorism. The IDF spokesperson emphasizes that Hezbollah is exploiting the Lebanese economic crisis to expand its military presence, while developing a parallel financial network to serve its military wing.
