A former UFC fighter was knocked out in his bare-knuckle boxing bout against Anthony Garrett at BKFC.
In bare-knuckle boxing, fights can end very quickly. A three-second knockout has already occurred at BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship). This weekend, BKFC set down in Los Angeles, California (United States). Anthony Garrett, a 35-year-old American fighter, was called up short notice (short term) to face 47-year-old former UFC fighter Lavar Johnson. Garrett achieved the fastest knockout in BKFC heavyweight history, in just 12 seconds. He thus obtained his second victory in the American bare-knuckle boxing promotion:

For his part, Lavar Johnson suffered a defeat after beating Travis Wiuff by KO in the 1st round in bare-knuckle boxing at VBK 2 on October 27, 2023. His last MMA fight dates back to September 5, 2014, when he lost by submission against Frenchman Cheick Kongo at Bellator 123. Johnson fought in the UFC from 2012 to 2013. He's not the only one ex-UFC fighter who took the path of bare-knuckle boxing. This is also the case for Mike Perry, who was also fired from BKFC by Conor McGregor. The American had reacted.
