The fire spread to the attic, according to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) 21.
An occupant, who had left before the arrival of emergency services, was transported to the Semur-en-Auxois hospital center. A dog, taken out by the firefighters, was evacuated to a veterinary clinic in Saulieu.
