The end of the week will be devoted to examining the facts denounced by Vicky and beginning the examination of the facts concerning Victorine. The latter’s relatives should also speak late Friday afternoon.
Next week, the Assize Court will look at the Victorine affair at length, hearing several experts and witnesses, then Ludovic Bertin himself. The expert psychiatrists and psychologists will then take the stand, the civil party lawyers for their pleading, the public prosecutor for his indictment and the defense lawyer for his pleading. As always, the accused will speak last. The verdict is expected on December 6; Ludovic Bertin faces life imprisonment.
