The victim died “during work in progress in this establishment”located in Massanassa, a town of 9,000 inhabitants in the southern suburbs of Valencia, indicated the prefect of the region, Pilar Bernabé, in comments reported by AFP. She said a second person was injured in the accident. She is currently hospitalized.
Nearly a month after the disaster, the toll is heavy. The floods left 218 dead in Valencia, seven in the neighboring region of Castile-La Mancha, one in Andalusia, and considerable damage.
