Anti-aircraft warning sirens were triggered on Sunday in many areas of northern and central Israel following projectile fire from Lebanon, according to the Israeli army, at war against the Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah.

She later clarified that 18 projectiles had been identified over the center of the country and around 30 others over the north, some of which she said were intercepted.
Magen David Adom, the Israeli equivalent of the Red Cross, announced that it had provided treatment to two people, including a 70-year-old woman who was moderately injured.
