Firefighters rescued an occupant trapped in a burning house on rue Sainte-Barbe. Unharmed, the victim was rescued in time, but the building is now uninhabitable. The causes of the incident remain to be determined.
Firefighters intervened during the night from Saturday to Sunday to save a person in difficulty during the fire in their home in Nivelles, explained the Walloon Brabant emergency zone.
Walloon Brabant firefighters were called to intervene around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday in a terraced house located along rue Sainte-Barbe, in Nivelles.
A major fire had just broken out there for an as yet undetermined reason.
When responders arrived on scene, they had to rescue a person who was in the burning building.
The occupant was finally able to be extracted unharmed. The house is uninhabitable.
