A violent fire ravages a slum in Manila, Philippines.

Impressive flames and thick black smoke rose this Sunday, November 24 in the sky of Manila, where a fire ravaged hundreds of homes in a shantytown, said the fire department of the Philippine capital. According to him, around 1,000 homes were affected by the fire, which apparently started on the second floor of one of the houses. No casualties have been reported at this time.
Drone images broadcast online by the municipal disaster response agency show homes ravaged by flames (see video at the top of this article). According to firefighters, some 2,000 families lived in this shantytown, located in the Isla Puting Bato district, to the west of the city, near the ocean. Some 36 fire engines and four boats were deployed, while the air force sent two helicopters to help put out the flames.
