The stops located between Rillieux Les Manges and Rillieux Semailles have been suspended until this Saturday morning.

This incident joins a series of attacks on buses in this town north of since the beginning of November.

A bus on line C5 was once again the target of incidents this Friday, November 22. Around 7 p.m., a bus traveling in the direction of Vancia was allegedly thrown stones in the Velette district, between the Leclerc and MJC stops. The X account of @LyonTcl reported a “malicious act”.

To avoid complications, including a potential ambush, the driver would have continued without stopping. According to Le Progrès, the incident caused material damage: a window was broken, another damaged, and a passenger was slightly injured by shards of glass. Testimonies speak of frightened passengers, getting on the ground to avoid debris and possible new projectiles.

Faced with this situation, circulation on the line was partially interrupted, with the suspension of stops between Rillieux Les Manges and Rillieux Semailles. The disruptions lasted throughout the evening, and a gradual recovery was noted around 4:30 a.m. this Saturday morning.
