Rick and the Good Times comes back in force with Testamenta third album that combines Americana, folk and rock with raw and authentic energy.
The group was at the Salle d'Youville at the Palais Montcalm on November 21 to show us the new material and also some of their hits from the two previous albums.
Conceived between Saint-Zénon, Sainte-Rita and Nashville, the new album reflects a straightforward sincerity, marking a real turning point in Rick's career. With his natural charisma and assertive stage presence Rick offers an unforgettable show, charged with renewed energy.
Éric Blanchard and behind him: Rick Dion
Very natural and friendly, Rick talks to us about his failings without embarrassment and manages to make us laugh on several occasions. He took the time to thank everyone around him, including of course his precious musicians.
This evening, we were able to hear: It doesn't take much, Sainte-Rita, Témiscouata, Jalousie and several other beautiful songs.
Musicians:
Ben Claveau on bass
Rick Dion on guitars
Oli Beaulieu on percussion
Éric Blanchard: the singer
Joanne Labrie: keyboard and voice
