A man shot another man this afternoon in a McDonald's restaurant in .

A 77-year-old man shot and killed a sixty-year-old man in the middle of a McDonald's restaurant located near Porte de Clignancourt in Paris (18th arrondissement), this Friday noon.

According to RMC Info, the two men are of French nationality and the motive could be based on a financial dispute between the two men, of the order of several thousand euros. There was also an altercation between the two men before the shots were fired.

A witness, cited by Le Parisien, said he “heard an explosion” when leaving McDonald's where he had just bought a burger. “I turned around and saw that a man had shot another man in cold blood. It shocked me.”

This witness only mentions a single gunshot, “a bullet in the head” while the first elements mentioned several shots, in the chest and in the head.

The alleged perpetrator of the shots was arrested without resistance. He was waiting for police officers on site and his arrest took place peacefully.
