Police officers from the anti-crime squad, on patrol nearby, arrived first on the scene and began to put out the fire using a fire extinguisher.
Spread avoided
Firefighters took over, quickly managed to bring the fire under control and prevented the fire from spreading beyond the common areas of this residential building.
Seven people, residing in apartments on 2e and you 3e floor, were inconvenienced by the fumes. After checking the carbon monoxide measurements in the atmosphere and at the level of the people affected, all the occupants were able to return to their homes.
Already in August, the residents of rue de l'Heurton experienced a fire in one of the buildings on this small street.
