The orange alert for snow and ice issued by Météo-France is maintained until noon tomorrow in the Côte-d’Or department. Faced with the forecast weather conditions, the prefect decided to suspend school transport traffic on all road and motorway networks in the department, this Friday, November 22, between 5 a.m. and noon.
The prefecture specifies that “regular lines are not affected by this ban”
According to the weather forecast, significant snowfall is expected during the night of Thursday 21 to Friday 22 Novemberwith accumulations of up to up to 20 centimeters in places. However, a spectacular mild spell is forecast this weekend, leading to rising temperatures and rapid snow melting.
