A reconstruction was organized this Thursday, at the beginning of the afternoon, on avenue des Champs in Warcoing, in the entity of Pecq, where an attempted murder took place on June 30, around from 2 p.m.
That day, the residents of this peaceful street witnessed a scene of great violence. A man aged 69 at the time of the incident entered his ex-partner’s house by driving his car into her garage which was open, causing significant damage, before leaving.
But the aggression did not stop there. The man returned to the scene a few moments later, armed with a screwdriver, directly threatening his ex-partner. In the midst of a fit of anger, he also attacked the neighborhood, vandalizing vehicles by puncturing their tires.
Several neighbors did not remain still in the face of this escalation of violence. They had offered refuge to the victim, before one of them took the keys to the attacker’s car. Unable to flee, he was subsequently subdued by the police upon their arrival.
