Black day this Wednesday for the Allier firefighters. Indeed, according to information from The Mountainfirefighters were called twice yesterday morning to Montluçon.

As a reminder, during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a violent fire broke out in an inhabited building on Avenue de la République. More than thirty firefighters then intervened to control the flames and rescue residents. Despite a real scare, the tenants escaped unscathed.

No casualties have been reported

A few hours after this intervention, the Allier firefighters were called to another fire, in an uninhabited house located rue Lancret. According to Sdis 03 soldiers, the fire broke out at the junction of the first and second floors. Called around 9 a.m., they quickly brought the flames under control.

After securing the premises and the terraced houses, the firefighters left this street near avenue Jules-Guesde, shortly before noon. If this house was uninhabited, the presence of squatters could not be excluded. However, no casualties were reported in this fire. At the moment, the causes of the incident are not known.
